WA Oceana Fest is a culinary competition, organised on behalf of the Australian Culinary Federation of Western Australia (ACFWA) which tests the skills of Chefs on an individual and team basis. The judging is based on established international culinary criteria. Salon Olympia Culinaire sees individuals competing in a number of areas in both hot kitchen and/or cold static display and is open to a wide range of competitors including apprentices, commercial cookery students and chefs.
The Salon Olympia Culinaire awards are highly coveted within the hospitality trade and we expect competition to be keen with over 200 competitors competing in a range of category's.
The ALINTA Restaurant of Champions is a nerve racking event that requires culinary teams to prepare a 3 course meal for 60 paying guests within full view of the judges, guests and the general public.
For the eigth year running the Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management not only competed in the Training Provider Category and a number of Individual categories, but we again supported the event with the supply of Food and Beverage Service Staff throughout the competition
