If you have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification in Australia or in another country, or have completed senior secondary/tertiary studies in one of the following countries in English, you are not required to present proof of English proficiency.
If you completed an Australian Year 12 qualification in Australia or in another country, or you completed senior secondary/tertiary studies in one of the following countries in English, proof of English is not required; Canada, Papua New Guinea, USA, England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Fiji, Scotland, Western Samoa, Ireland, Singapore, Zambia, Kenya, Solomon Islands, New Zealand, South Africa.
All other applicants must provide proof of English proficiency.
The English requirement for undergraduate programs other than the exceptions listed below is:
1) IELTS (International English Language Testing Scheme) - 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in each band)
Academic version, or
2) TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) - 550 (minimum 4.5 in Test of Written English), or
3) 213 (Computer Based Score - minimum 4.5 Essay rating), or
4) CCPE C Pass, or
5) General English Advanced Board
In order to receive an offer of acceptance to ASTHM. For students who do not meet the required level of English, the Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management will arrange enrolment into a suitable intensive English program at Eurocentres Perth.
