Administration Manager
The Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management is one of Australia's leading hotel and tourism management schools with students from 51 international countries represented in the student body.

We are seeking to appoint an Administration Manager who will be responsible for the management and organisation of data relating to all aspects of the school including compliance related matters. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and administration skills and be able to manage a diverse array of duties and responsibilities initiatives. This is a challenging position for a person who thrives in a busy work environment.

Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:-
• Management and maintenance of the Student Management System (FileMaker database)
• Data in/output and check of various data types
• ensure compliance with Training Packages, AQTF, TAC, DES, DIAC and NEAS
• Term set up of all courses
• Preparation of qualifications and statements
• Maintaining accurate enrolment and financial records for all students.
• Recording and minuting meetings
• Managing school administrative and compliance related deadlines
• Upkeep of web page and content
• Regular update of policies and procedures and version control
• Preparation of management reports and activity statements for the Managing Director
• Efficiently manage and update all electronic records to the Department of Education & Training to reflect all training and assessment activity
• Administration and management of all trainees/apprentices activities
• Invoicing and receipting for trainees/apprentices
• Administration and management of all trainees/apprentices activities.
• Preparation of the school newsletter
• Filing and archiving
• General administration and support as required by Company Directors

Hospitality and Tourism Lecturer

The Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management, one of Australia’s leading private Hotel and Tourism Management schools, is currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiasitic individual to join its vibrant teaching team. This position which is a fulltime lecturing role is primarily associated with teaching in one or more of the following areas:-

• Hospitality Management
• Rooms Division Management
• Information Technology Systems
• Project Management
• Sales and Marketing

Applicants must meet the following essential criteria:-
• Have a minimum of 5 years senior management experience within the hospitality industry

It is also desirable that applicants can demonstrate:
• Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment or be prepared to complete this within three months of commencement., or,
• Hold a Bachelor of Business Degree relevant to either Hospitality or Tourism Management areas,
and,
• Have a demonstrated capacity to develop innovative learning and assessment resources
