Once employed as an apprentice the New Apprenticeship Centre (NAC) will assist employer and employee to complete the necessary paperwork. The RTO negotiate the TPO, deliver, assess and issue qualifications whilst the employer not only provides employment and training for the duration of the apprenticeship but also verifies that competencies have been achieved at the workplace by completing and signing a workplace Record Book.
Apprentices may be granted credit for the completion of formal accredited training with a school, college or previous RTO. The transfer of credits from one course to another offers the student exemption from any relevant units within a course.
